The line — six builds

Pick by terrain, not by looks

Every pair here filters 100% of UVA and UVB. What changes between them is light category, weight and how tightly they seal — which is what actually determines whether a pair works on your route.

Still deciding?

Start with Cat. 3, add Cat. 4 for snow

Cat. 3 covers virtually all daytime hiking, running and riding. If your route crosses a snowfield or glacier, you need Cat. 4 — a Cat. 3 lens will not protect you there, and a Cat. 4 lens is not legal for road driving in the EU.
